Foosball

This is not a typo we are not recommending a tackle sport in the heat, although if that is your thing go for it! Foosball, also called table soccer, is such a fun investment for your home. Foosball tables are about the same size as a ping pong table but without the reality of chasing a flying ping pong ball. The game can be played with 2-4 players, the tables are easy to maintain, and they are great for younger players too. You might need to add a little bench for younger players but other than that you’re good to go! You can put this in your screened room or sunroom which make for great bonus game rooms. Foosball tables can easily fit under a pergola and they can also be something very nice to have near your outdoor kitchen. Turn your space into the perfect place to have some sports fun. Turn on an Orlando City or Orlando Pride soccer match, bring out your favorite drinks and have some foosball fun to create the best hangout spot in town.

Flamingo Ring Toss

This is a true tribute to a Florida home and the concept is exactly what you might be envisioning—lawn flamingos and plastic rings for the ultimate Florida summer game. Grab some fun lawn flamingos from your local store or online along with some plastic rings and create your own customized ring toss! The cool part about this game is that you can get flamingos with different necks, some bending down others curving up, for a more challenging ring toss. If you don’t want to put the flamingos in the grass or want to include this game in a screened in room, you can always put the flamingos in different planting pots or buckets for game setup. Make it really classic and put the flamingos in the front yard all summer long and have the rings ready to play whenever!

Dominos

On the topic of celebrating Florida summer fun, why not pay a tribute to our fun neighbors in Miami with some dominos! Did you know you can still find people outside playing dominos in parks and on Calle Ocho in Little Havana? Grab a cafecito, or your favorite iced coffee, and play some dominos by your pool or under the pergola during summer afternoons. Want to really make it official? Play at 3:05pm—the official coffee time and zip code down in Miami! Now, for a big summer twist, invest in giant dominos! Yes they exist and are great for your backyard. Having a nice set of dominos, giant or small, is a great game to have for family and guests of varying ages and one that we really recommend having on hand.
