1) Light That Fire

One of the easiest ways to create an inviting atmosphere is with the cozy element of fire. If you have a fire pit in the backyard that is usually a fan favorite. Whether you have friends over or a special someone, the fire pit is a place that creates a space for reflection, conversation and a fun atmosphere. Grab some wine, your supplies for s’mores or fondue and light up that fire.

2) Dinner Under The Pergola

If you are wanting to tap into your chef skills then whip up a nice dinner and serve it under the pergola for a magical dinner under the pergola. There are so many nice ways to decorate your pergola with lights for nights like these or just to keep for all year round. Not confident in your cooking? You can still use this space to serve up some appetizers or charcuterie board–or serve up what you ordered out! Dining together, however that looks, is what is important.

3) Host A Brunch

Like many people, you might have a nice pool area or outdoor kitchen and outdoor living space that you do not always get to use for special occasions. Brunch is sure to be a great way to add a light daytime activity that friends, family, and loved ones can join in on. Using this outdoor space to serve brunch also counts as showing love by making sure the people you care about are enjoying the benefits of natural sunlight!

4) Picnic Outside

If you are all brunched-out, why not throw a retro picnic in your backyard or front lawn if you’re feeling bold. Bring out your favorite blanket and make some of your favorite sandwiches and snacks and host a special picnic outside. You might be able to think of a fun memory that involves a picnic, and if you can’t now is the time to create one.

5) Outdoor Movie Night

If you have a fenced in backyard or an enclosed pool space you can always use your space to host an outdoor movie night. Whether you grab a fancy projector or an easy to use gadget that can link to your phone, hosting a movie night outside is a sweet way to do something different with the people you care about. Create a popcorn bar with various types of popcorn or movie treats for some added sweetness to the evening.

6) Backyard Bash

If your idea of fun involves a bit more movement then bring out the backyard games and host a backyard bash. Whether you are celebrating the day with kids or with friends, having some backyard games is a great way to enjoy the Central Florida weather and create some fun in your day together.

7) Game Night Under The Pergola

If you want games to be part of your day but not necessarily a lot of physical activity then bring out your favorite board games or card games and host a game night under the pergola. The important part about having game nights from time to time is that it ensures that we all get off of our screens for a bit and enjoy the present moment with the people we are with. Sometimes we don’t realize the priceless gifts these moments really bring until after they are finished.

8) Sunroom Relaxation

All activities aside, sometimes the best way to cultivate the idea of love is to take time to relax. Why not take some time in the day to simply relax in your own sunroom space, be still in the moment and enjoy your accomplishments.
